Have you ever got irritated by BitLocker after upgrading to Windows 10? Well I got as I forgot password to unlock the drive. Keying in BitLocker Recovery key is real pain.

Below are the steps to go ahead and play with it:

Step 1: Open Command Prompt with Administrative privileges.

Step 2:  Type below command to get the status of drive

manage-bde <Drive-Letter>: -status

Step 3: Start Decryption by issuing below command

manage-bde <Drive-Letter>: -off

Decryption will be started and you can check the status by the first command.

Step 4: There are many switches. Complete list can be browsed by below command.
